Community gathered to receive the two Nepalese world cyclists, who had just arrived UK as a part of their ongoing journey, at the Community’s office on the 16th of June 2023.
The cyclists, Ajay Mishra and Bhagat Khatri, started their world tour on bicycle at the age of 21 and 22 years from Bhaktapur Gattaghar in 2004. Since then, they had already been to 104 countries.
On behalf of the community, the Chairperson Dammar Limbu presented them Khadas and a cheque of £300 as a token of love. He added, “We are very privileged to receive you. Congratulations and wish you both all the very best!”
