Late Sadikshya Tamang, daughter of Kumar Thokar Tamang (social worker and Guru Lama), had arrived UK for her higher education last December 2022.
She was admitted to Milton hospital in May as she had suffered from pneumonia and passed, sadly, away on the 10th of May 2023 at the age of 21, and her family wants her body repatriated back to Nepal.
The community managed to collect £801 under the coordination of the Chief Vice Mohan Limbu after receiving an appeal letter from the President of NRNA UK Prem Gaha Magar.
On behalf of the Sagarmatha Gurkha/Nepalese Community Ashford Kent (SGNCAK), Chairperson Dammar Limbu presented a cheque to Rechard Gurung NRNA UK ICC Member in the Community office on the 28th of June 2023, who would hand over the fund to the bereaved family.
The Chairperson expressed his gratitude to all members of the community for their contribution that would offer a solace to her family at this difficult time and wished her departed soul rest in peace and expressed his sincere condolences to the grief family.
