Coronation of His Majesty The King & Her Majesty The Queen Consort
The Coronation Ceremony for His Majesty King Charles III had taken place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey.
A live screening of the Ceremony took place in Victoria Park, Ashford Kent and it was followed by performances from local groups and individuals.
Sagarmatha Gurkha/Nepalese Community Ashford, Kent had also participated in the event with the Kelang (Limbu Natch) and Sakela (Rai Natch).
The Chairperson, Dammar Limbu, extends his heartfelt gratitude to the Cultural Secretary Om Magar; Basundhara Rai Vice-Chairperson (President KRY Ashford), Sodip Thopra President KYC Ashford Branch and their team; and Shikhar Limbu Chairperson Youth for their help and support to coordinate the Natch Teams for the event.
